The 23rd Annual 40 mile pilgrimage walk will be Fri, Sat., and Sun. Aug. 2nd,3rd, & 4th 2019
The 40 miles are broken up into 3 days of 12 to 14 mile walks. Walk 1 mile or all 40. Walk 1 day 2 days or all 3 days. Along the route are support vehicles with water, fruit, snacks and porta pottys with lights and running water. Lunch is provided all 3 days. You can camp overnight or arrange for a ride home and return the next morning. Your camping gear is hauled for you. Mass is at 5:00pm on Friday and Saturday night followed by dinner. For Friday’s dinner we will have a fish fry with all the trimmin’s and on Saturday night the Knights of Columbus will bar-b-que chicken. We will have a holy hour of adoration on Saturday night. Mass on the final day will be at San Lorenzo in Santa Ynez at 3:00pm.
We leave St. Louis De Montfort at 10:00am on Friday the 2nd for the first leg. We will leave San Ramon Chapel at 8:00am on Saturday the 3rd for the second leg and we will leave T. Hayers Ranch on Foxen Canyon Rd. at 8:00am on Sunday the 4th for the final leg. At the campsites, enjoy food, snacks, rest, fellowship, prayer, music / singing, reading, worship and more!
How To Register
Registration is handled through the Rectory office. The pilgrimage registration form can be downloaded below and turned in at 5075 Harp Rd between the hours of 8:30am and 5:30pm on weekdays and 10am and 3pm on weekends.
A registration fee of $35 per person / $55 per couple / $70 for immediate family of 3 is requested. Each additional family member is $15 to help offset costs.
